Sump baffle arrived from Extreme Engines today. I put the engine back on the stand and turned
upside down to remove all the sump bolts and then gently tap the sump until it
became loose. Also removed the oil
strainer.
Attempted to fit the baffle but couldn’t
get it to sit right. One of the ribs in
the engine appeared to clash so I notched out for it in the baffle with the
angle grinder.
Still couldn’t get it to fit. Also not sure what to do about the o ring for
the oil strainer…… which side of the baffle should it sit on? I will have to email extreme engines for more
info.
